RICH HISTORY

Incorporated in 1847, the city of Indianapolis began to grow. The State Capitol building was erected in 1888. Soon after, the Taylor building, located at 26 West Washington Street, was completed in 1897. In 1910, the existing Goodman Jewelers building, originally the Indianapolis News Building, was completed. Today, the buildings function as luxury apartment units and house Indianapolis' first five-star restaurant.
